This is an excellent yoga mat; I had one of my own and bought this for my mom on Amazon. You can’t beat the price.

I have not tried the mat since I tried the sea salt treatment….we shall see. However, amazon quickly shipped the product to me…I believe I received it within 2 days! It’s thick and comfortable, not sticky but keeps me in place. It’s easy to clean and seems like it will last a lifetime.

I was expecting a different material, guess I didn’t do enough research, the mat is sturdy (fairly smooth, I still practice with an additional layer on top). The thing I don’t like so much about it is its weight- heaviest mat I have ever had!

I recently started getting into yoga, and decided that I wanted to drop all the middle-of-the-road stuff and jump right to the high-end product. I was also very interested in getting a thicker mat for my knees.

The chemical smell that I had read about is definitely noticeable the first few times you use it but goes away rather quickly. It’s a lovely, high quality mat.

I have practiced yoga and am a hard-core exercise enthusiast since I was a teenager (over 10 years ago), and I am a personal trainer for the past 9 years, and this is the best mat I have ever owned or used. I purchased this yoga mat to use for home workouts – I practice yoga, and do high intensity interval training – and needed a new mat for cushion during intense ‘jumping’, and one that will not slide around. Bottom line, it’s got some heft to it but it’s not non-transportable, as has been reported in some reviews. I’m all of 5’1″ and average weight and didn’t find it prohibitively heavy. Investing in this superior mat (especially if you are a beginner) is well worth the money; it will enhance your performance and build your confidence. This is an awesome yoga mat.

This is a wonderful mat. It will take your practice to a new level and last a lifetime.

Though the cost makes one pause before hitting the order button it simply blows you away once you start using it. Those who do ashtanga will enjoy the stability of the mat. No complaints here! This size was perfect for me and again, compared to other mats I have seen locally, they don’t come close!

It’s worth every penny, a great investment. Very thick and shock absorbent. A note on the product information sleeve mentioned that there is a slight film on the mat. I don’t sweat very easily, and it happened only every so often so I think it may have been the oils in my hands. It’s very durable. Still using the same mat after all these years and love it!
